Your Daily to do List for Serious Info Marketers

In order to make your information marketing business FLY, you need to
be doing a few things on a daily basis. No matter what anyone tells you, to REALLY make money in this business there is SOME work involved.

There are some things that I try and do every day to help move my career along. I am not suggesting these are the ONLY things you should be doing, but they are some of the things.

If you are looking for long term success in this business, it will only come as a result of consistent efforts on a regular basis. That's why it's SO crucial for you to have a list of a few things that you try to get done every day to help make that happen.

Every day, I try and write at least 2,000 words. Some of those words are in blog posts, others are going towards a book or report. If you get into the habit of writing every day it will not only get easier to do but your writing will really improve. Trust me, I was a lousy writer, but now, I'm fairly decent as a result.

In addition to writing every day, I also try and do some audio and/or video recording each day. This has been tough for me to do. As far as writing, all it takes is to pick up the laptop, open it up and start typing. This is not the same with either audio or video. There's more work to get going. I think that's the problem for me and most others who sell info products.

My suggestion is to have everything set up so that you can create your audios and videos. This means you have all of the equipment out and ready to go. IF you do that, your chances of getting something done each day in the audio/video field is much greater.

READ! Every day I read some magazines and a book related to this business. Today, I've got my latest copy of Wired magazine. I also have a copy of one of David Meerman Scott's books. If you are committed to really doing something in this field you need to stay current. Reading is one way to make SURE that's the case.

Every day I try and make at least 10 phone calls that will advance my business in some manner shaper or form. Whether it's PR or JV partners, a phone call will get you closer to those goals. Pick up the phone every day and make some calls.
