Resources to Help YOU Build a Thriving, Ethical Information Marketing Business!

Who Do YOU Listen to in This Industry?

The simple answer to this question might be: NO ONE! There are VERY few people that
I trust in the field of information marketing. Some of the people I USED to trust have now gone over to the "dark side" and are no longer playing by the rules.

There are a lot of so-called "gurus" out there. Some of them are reputable. Many of them are not. But how do YOU determine who you should listen to?

It's a tough question, but I'll TRY and give you some guidelines and some TIPS about how to make sure you don't get your wallet lifted from some of these folks.

The first thing to look out for is OUTRAGEOUS income claims. They are all over the place. Lately, the Federal government has stepped in to make sure that people don't make claims they can't substantiate. Although I'm not a big fan of government intervention, this is probably a good idea.

If when you hear from these folks you think: "NAH! That can't be true!" You're probably right. OR, on perhaps the claims that they are making were possible for one or two people who they had SET UP to be able to achieve the income goals they claim.

In many cases, you'd be better off playing the horses than buying and following some of these folks "systems."

Another HUGE red flag is when someone claims that you can make all of the money they say you can in a time frame that seems completely unreasonable. If it sounds too good to be true, it almost ALWAYS is. Everyone wants to be RICH OVERNIGHT. Just don't' bet on it being you as a the result of following some guy's system. Doing so may make THEM rich, but you, not so much!

Before you give someone a dime of your money, do your homework on them as a person. Get online, Google them. Look at the comments OTHERS are making about them. They don't have to be 100% positive. If they are, I'd be worried. Just make sure that the VAST majority of people have good things to say about the individual you're considering giving money to.

Follow these ideas and you'll be on the right track. But AGAIN, BE CAREFUL! It's an internet JUNGLE out there!
